TEST & EXAMINATION

Students are evaluated on the basis of CONTINUOUS COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE) from class I to class VIII. The two systems of doing so for each student are as follows:

  • Formative evaluation: Day-to-day observation, Practical/ Experiment, Activities, Written Tests, Class work and homework.

  • Summative evaluation: Done at the end of each semester, a written and oral examination will be conducted.

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation is the sum total of marks of the Formative evaluation and Summative evaluation obtained at the end of each semester. The distribution of marks is however different for all classes. Grade is given for each subject each semester, according to marks obtained in the CCE.
